Job Description
Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
Scan items, enter prices, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods according to company procedures.
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as needed.
Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately in the system.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the checkout area.
Follow all safety and security procedures, including handling cash securely and reporting any discrepancies.
Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.
Upsell or cross-sell products or services to customers when appropriate.
Perform opening and closing procedures, including counting cash drawers and reconciling payments.
Prepare and mix drinks according to established recipes.
Assess customers' preferences and make recommendations based on their tastes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Requirements
Senior High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a service crew or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Proficiency in using cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Integrity and honesty in handling cash and sensitive information.
