Cafe Service Crew

Job Description

  • Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
  • Scan items, enter prices, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods according to company procedures.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as needed.
  • Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately in the system.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the checkout area.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures, including handling cash securely and reporting any discrepancies.
  •  Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.
  • Upsell or cross-sell products or services to customers when appropriate.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including counting cash drawers and reconciling payments.
  • Prepare and mix drinks according to established recipes.
  • Assess customers' preferences and make recommendations based on their tastes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.


 

Requirements

  •  Senior High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a service crew or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  •  Integrity and honesty in handling cash and sensitive information.
